1. Who we are

The address of our site is: https://blockchainsecurity.rs. For any questions regarding data protection, you can write to us at: info@blockchainsecurity.rs.

2. What data we collect and why

Contact form

When you contact us through the form on the site, we collect the data you enter yourself (e.g., name and email address) in order to respond to your inquiry. The legal basis is your consent, i.e., taking steps at your request.

Newsletter (subscription to notifications)

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address to send notifications and content about blockchain security. The subscription is confirmed through a double opt-in system (double opt-in), you will receive an email with a confirmation link, and only after confirmation are you subscribed. Marketing consent and community consent are managed separately and are not pre-checked by default. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of each message. We use FluentCRM to manage lists, which is installed on our own server (data is not forwarded to an external marketing service).

Comments

When you leave a comment, we collect the data shown in the comment form, as well as your IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Server logs (log files)

Like most sites, our server and security layer (Wordfence) may temporarily log IP addresses and technical access data for security and abuse prevention. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the site.

3. Cookies

The site uses cookies. Necessary cookies ensure the basic functioning of the site and do not require consent. For analytical and marketing cookies, we request your consent via a cookie banner that is displayed on your first visit. Until your consent, analytics runs in a cookie-free mode (Google Consent Mode v2, analytics_storage: denied). You can change your choice by deleting the bcs_consent cookie in your browser settings, after which the banner will be shown again. If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies for your convenience so you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment.

4. Analytics

To understand how the site is used, we may use Google Analytics 4. Analytical cookies are activated only after you click “I accept” in the cookie banner. Data is processed in an aggregated form for visit statistics.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We may entrust your data to the following categories of processors, solely for the purposes stated above:

  • Hosting provider (Hostinger), for site and data hosting.
  • Google (Analytics), only with your consent to statistical cookies.
  • Competent authorities, only when required by law.

6. How long we keep data

We keep contact form data for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and maintain correspondence. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments. You can request deletion of your data at any time.

7. Your rights

In accordance with the law, you have the right to: request access to your data, its correction or deletion, restrict or object to processing, as well as the right to data portability and the right to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal). You can send your request to info@blockchainsecurity.rs. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Serbia.

8. Data security

The site uses an encrypted connection (SSL/HTTPS) and a security layer (Wordfence) to protect against unauthorized access. Although we take reasonable security measures, no data transmission over the Internet is completely secure.
